Caleb was a man of steadfastness -

    he focused on God's promise ( He had a vision )

    he focused on the milk and honey in the land   ( Numbers 13 verse 30 )

    he trusted God to enable His people to conquor the giants.

A man who was undetered by others fears or doubts.

A man who persevered during forty years in the desert

A man who refused to compromise

A man who at 80 asked for Mount Hebron - rejecting the valley

   which, though easy to conquor

   would be difficult to defend.

Caleb was a man who endured

Caleb was a man of faith in God
